The Audiology Community is a space for respectful, educational, and peer-support conversations about hearing health. These guidelines apply to all members.
Be respectful
Treat every member with courtesy. Disagreement is welcome; personal attacks, harassment, and discriminatory language are not.
No medical advice
Members may share personal experiences and general information, but may not provide individualized medical diagnosis or treatment recommendations. Always direct members to qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.
No spam or self-promotion
Commercial promotion, unsolicited advertising, and affiliate links are prohibited. Professionals may identify their credentials but may not solicit patients or clients.
Accurate information
Share information you believe to be accurate. Correct misinformation respectfully. Do not spread unverified claims about treatments, devices, or professionals.
Protect privacy
Do not share personal information about other members, patients, or third parties without their consent.
Report concerns
Use the report function for content that violates these guidelines. Do not engage with or amplify harmful content.
Enforcement
Moderators may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines. Appeals may be submitted through the Content Reporting and Appeals process.
